Incident report

While exploring with three friends, Lyndal Rozelle (16) broke his leg by jumping from a tunnel, 15 feet to a room below. His friends called a rescue group, who splinted Rozelle's leg and lifted him from the room in a harness. However, he had to crawl 350 yards unassisted because of the smallness of the passage to the entrance.

Source: Tom Schriever

Analysis: Rozelle exercised poor judgment. Jumping is always hazardous, and more so when relatively isolated from assistance.
